Nature's Gateway
 
Artist: Joshua Wiener
Clackamas County Transportation and Development and CCAA commissioned Joshua Wiener to create "Nature's Gateway", a series of three interlocking arches constructed of galvanized steel, steel mesh and river rock, for the center of the 172nd Avenue Roundabout. This project is a part of the "Public Art in Clackamas County Project Plan, 2007-2010", approved by the Board of County Commissioners in January 2008. The main project goal was to improve traffic safety at the roundabout site.
