Molalla Logging Mural Project

Project Summary:
The City of Molalla, in collaboration with the Arts Action Alliance Foundation, is seeking qualifications from Artists or Artist teams for a mural to be sited in Sally and Marlin Fox Memorial Park in downtown Molalla. The 6' x 20' foot mural will be double-sided (viewable from both sides) and will be positioned between two vertical logs measuring approximately 20" in diameter. A support log (approximately 8"-10" in diameter") will provide support at the base of the mural . The mural is intended to commemorate Molalla's timber history, and to especially highlight the people and families central to the industry, and to Molalla's timber-related stories.
