“Flying Humans” was commissioned as a part of the “Public Art in Clackamas County Project Plan, 2007-2010”, approved by the Board of County Commissioners in January 2008. The main project goals were to improve the pedestrian environment, enhance the visual character of the streetscape along Monterey Avenue and to provide an energizing, engaging visual experience aligned to the nature and purpose of the Clackamas Town Center Environment.
